Result of the dream and work of educators like Darcy Ribeiro and Anísio Teixeira, UnB is, since 1962, the year of its creation, one of the main national academic references. The cultural diversity present in its four campuses is one of its outstanding characteristics.   Plurality, combined with the permanent search for innovative solutions, drives the institution's scientific production and daily life.

A transforming University, with the mission of producing, integrating and disseminating knowledge, forming citizens committed to ethics, social responsibility and sustainable development. This is the University of Brasília, whose trajectory is intertwined with the history of the country's capital.

Tourism in Brasilia

Brasilia, city park, heritage and life

The original layout and the beautiful buildings designed by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer made the capital the first modern city to be inscribed on UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List in December 1987. A city with homogeneous buildings, wide, tree-lined streets, parks and sectors designed for the well-being of the population and visitors.
